Bruno Rodrigues
Technical Director & Classical Pilates Teacher

I have been involved with physical exercise and movement for as long as I can remember. It has always been part of who I am. I was a competitive gymnast during my childhood and teenage years, which sparked my interest in human movement.

University helped me deepen my knowledge of physical exercise, but it was in the fitness industry that I took my first steps as an instructor and trainer.

My first contact with Pilates was at the age of 21. I became curious about the method, but it was only years later that I truly understood the potential Pilates offers, as well as its distinct approach to training both body and mind. I completed my first Pilates training at 28, and since then I have never stopped exploring the body and movement, learning new approaches and refining techniques.

Cláudio Alves
Yoga, Aerial & Classical Pilates Teacher

I hold a degree in Psychology and Human Resources Management and have training in Physiotherapy, Massage, and Coaching. Throughout my career, I have studied Yoga and integrated it into a holistic vision of health, uniting body and mind both personally and professionally. I have deepened my knowledge of Yoga in Portugal, Spain, and India, valuing traditions such as pranayama and meditation, while also emphasizing alignment, body awareness, and self-knowledge.

I also have training in Classical Pilates completed in Portugal and Aerial training in Spain. These areas complement my integrated approach to movement and well-being, allowing me to teach classes adapted to different levels and needs.

I believe that body and mind are inseparable, and I carry this conviction into both my life and my teaching, showing that movement—whether through Yoga, Pilates, or aerial practices—is accessible to everyone.

Inês Garcia
Classical Pilates Teacher & Costumer Care

Cheerful, fun, friendly, positive, and determined.

I see life as a great school where every situation—whether challenging or not—is simply an opportunity to learn and grow, allowing us to experience the best that life has to offer.

Although I may appear to be a calm woman, I have a great deal of mental energy, and it is through my passion for sport that I find my peace.

I have never been a professional athlete, but I have always been a dedicated practitioner. I have explored different sports, from gymnastics, volleyball, capoeira, and jiu-jitsu to Pilates, gym training, yoga, and others.

I am very expressive and a good communicator, which perhaps explains my strong connection with people. Today at SHIFT YOU, I am committed to giving my best to welcome, guide, and support each client in the best possible way, always offering the best of myself.

Micaelle Miranda
Classical Pilates Teacher & Physiotherapist

From an early age, I realized that caring for others is part of my essence. This vocation naturally led me to Physiotherapy, where I found the perfect balance between scientific knowledge, movement, and human connection. I hold a degree in Physiotherapy (2012), a Master’s in Exercise and Health from FMH (2025), and I am currently attending a postgraduate program in Pelvic Physiotherapy and Women’s Health at ESSAlcoitão.

My journey with conscious movement began in 2012, with my first Pilates training. Since then, the method has been at the heart of my clinical practice. I believe excellence requires constant evolution: between 2024 and 2025, I specialized in Classical Pilates at Shift You, strengthening my commitment to a precise, safe, and holistic approach.

For me, Pilates is not just exercise; it is a conscious rehabilitation tool that respects each individual’s uniqueness and specific needs. What motivates me is witnessing the real impact of this methodology on my clients’ lives, promoting autonomy and overall well-being. I believe in rehabilitation where refined technique and attentive listening go hand in hand, restoring each person’s confidence in their own body.

Daniel Fischer
Osteopathy

Osteopathy brings together several things I have always enjoyed: working with my hands, solving puzzles, and helping others.

Although this was not a profession I considered from childhood or even during my teenage years, when osteopathy came into my life, it quickly became clear that it was the natural path to follow.

I graduated in Osteopathy from the Instituto de Medicina Tradicional in 2017, and in the following years I was invited to collaborate as a supervisor for the internships of final-year students. In 2019, I developed a study on the effects of osteopathy on constipation with the British College of Osteopathic Medicine, for which I was awarded a BSc (Hons).

Over the years, I have increasingly explored visceral osteopathy and its relationship with the different body systems.

Having the opportunity to reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore quality of life is something that leaves me deeply grateful for this profession and for those who guided me towards it.

Ricardo Vilhena
Traditional Chinese Medicine & Massage Specialist

My first contact with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) was in 2005, through a Tui Na course (traditional Chinese massage). My formal TCM training came later, in 2010, after completing a degree and a master’s in Computer Engineering. At that point, I decided to change the course of my life and pursue my dream of becoming a “Chinese medicine doctor.”

I completed my studies in 2015, after 5,000 hours of training, receiving four academic distinctions for my dedication and performance, and completing more than 900 hours of clinical practice.

In the last quarter of 2016, I spent time in Nanjing, China, where I undertook a clinical internship in several hospitals and TCM clinics. In 2017, I trained in Dr. Tan’s Balance Method in Barcelona, and in 2020 I began my journey in Jing Fang (classical Chinese herbal prescription).

I believe that changing the world is within everyone’s reach, and this is the path I chose to do so.

Fernanda Prados
Yoga, Classical Pilates & Aerial Teacher

Hello! I’m Fernanda, but you can call me Nanda.

An architect by training, I discovered Yoga as a way to cope with anxiety, allergic rhinitis, and stress.

It was in 2007 that I immersed myself in this practice, finding not only physical and breathing exercise, but also self-knowledge. Some time later, in 2011, I adopted Pilates as a complement, becoming fascinated by its mind–body approach.

However, it was only in 2019 that my true path began to take shape: I became a Yoga instructor, and I have been sharing this journey with others ever since.

Life is full of surprises, and two years ago I moved to Portugal. Here, I renewed my passion for Pilates, this time not only as a personal practice but also as a professional path. I am excited to continue helping people find balance and physical and mental well-being in their lives through Yoga and Pilates—the perfect match.

Emanuelle Souza
Classical Pilates Teacher

Movement has always been part of my life. From a young age, I practiced various sports, but it was in dance that I found my true passion. I graduated from the Lyceu Escola de Dança in Rio de Janeiro and worked for several years as a dance teacher in ballroom, jazz, and street dance.

My first contact with Pilates happened during pregnancy, at a time when I faced some physical limitations. I discovered in the practice a safe and effective way to strengthen the body, relieve discomfort, and reconnect with myself. From that moment on, my passion for the method only grew, leading me to seek deeper knowledge.

In 2023, I moved to Portugal, where I decided to fully dedicate myself to Pilates. It was then that I began my teacher training, immersing myself in the concepts and fundamentals of the method.

I believe that movement transforms not only the body but also the mind, and my greatest purpose is to inspire each student to reconnect with themselves, rediscover their abilities, and achieve a more balanced, healthy, and functional body—always respecting their own rhythm and journey.

João Assunção

Classical Pilates Teacher

From a very young age, physical exercise and movement have always been fundamental elements in my life. I began my journey in dance at the age of 3, driven by health-related reasons, and this passion led me to study dance at the Escola de Dança do Conservatório Nacional in Lisbon.

I later completed my degree at ArtEZ University of the Arts, where I deepened both my artistic knowledge and skills.

After graduating, I dedicated myself to teaching and to small projects and workshops, sharing my passion for dance with others. I am currently completing a Master’s degree in Dance Education, which allows me to further deepen my understanding of the art of teaching and the importance of movement in people’s lives.

My first contact with Pilates happened during my school journey, but it was only in 2020 that I decided to pursue formal training, obtaining a Mat certification. This experience sparked a deep interest in the method. In 2021/2022, I had the opportunity to complete Classical Pilates training at Shift You, where I became even more passionate about the method and its philosophy. Curiosity about the origins of Pilates and its different approaches has remained a constant throughout my continuous training.

For me, movement is synonymous with health and life; it is a universal language that connects body and mind and promotes overall well-being.

Ana Filipa Oliveira

Classical Pilates Teacher

I am Ana Filipa, and I grew up in a small village in the interior of Portugal, where days passed slowly and movement happened naturally—running through the streets, playing outdoors, and exploring everything around me.

It was in this simple environment that my connection to the body and movement was born, long before I understood the impact it would have on my life.

Later, artistic roller skating became an essential part of my path.

For 15 years, it was much more than a sport—it was a school of life. It taught me discipline, resilience, focus, and above all, to listen to and respect my body. That is where I began, without realizing it, to build the foundation of who I am today.

My curiosity led me down another academic path, and I graduated in Computer Engineering.

Still, there was always something within me that pulled me toward the human side, toward caring for others. I eventually found that balance in my master’s thesis, where I studied locomotion in people with Parkinson’s disease, aiming to contribute to improving their quality of life.

Pilates came into my life at a time when I felt the need to slow down and find more balance.

What started as simple curiosity quickly turned into something much greater. I discovered a new way of looking at the body—with more awareness, intention, and respect.

Today, I see movement as an essential tool for physical and mental balance, and as a way to transform how we feel and live.

I am communicative, positive, and have a calm yet present energy. I enjoy building genuine connections and supporting each person closely, respecting their time, their body, and their story.

More than training, I want each person to feel good in their own body—with confidence, balance, and lightness.

Michele Silva

Customer Care

I was born in Africa, lived in Asia, and settled in Europe. I have travelled extensively and lost count of how many times I have changed homes—not only in terms of residence, but also in professional activities. The common thread throughout everything has always been human connection and communication.

I have a degree in Business Communication – Public Relations, and after some years working in the corporate world, I moved into entrepreneurship. During this phase, I became more aware of my personal development and, through an inward journey, I completed several trainings. I eventually became a Body Therapist, creating a method that combines African manual and energetic techniques with massage, dance, nature therapy, and new constellations.

My purpose is to promote balance and harmony of the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual body through the energy of touch. I am also part of the SHIFT YOU team, where I work in reception and client support.

Kathy Pedro
Classical Pilates Teacher

I am Kathy Pedro, and I have been exploring the world of fitness for more than 25 years.

My passion for movement has been with me throughout my entire life. For the past 14 years, I have dedicated myself to NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), which has had a significant impact on me on multiple levels.

More recently, I have focused more on Pilates, with the intention of developing the synergy between “body and mind” as a complete system.

I believe that separating body and mind creates many inconsistencies, and working with NLP alongside Pilates allows for the alignment of the whole being.

Jorge Barros
Yoga Teacher

“Yoga is strength, power, and energy.”

These are concepts associated with Yoga since ancient times.

They have been part of my life since the year 2000, when I began my practice. It was with this interest and intention that I trained at the University of Yoga – DeRose Method.

Along this journey, I have had the opportunity to learn and practice different styles, including Bikram Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Hatha Yoga, and Iyengar Yoga, continuing to practice, study, and teach ever since—accumulating more than 20 years of learning and activity in this ancient and inspiring philosophy of life, both in Portugal and abroad.

I would like to invite you to experience my Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes, a dynamic sequence of postures linked by breath, where focus, concentration, energy, and vitality are present, without ever neglecting a deep and restorative relaxation at the end of each session, along with other techniques you will have the opportunity to experience.

I hope it becomes, for you as it is for me, an intense and inspiring moment shared in good company. I look forward to welcoming you!

Mara Pacheco

Professora Pilates Clássico

Dancer and movement teacher, with a degree in Dance from the Escola Superior de Dança and a specialization in Psychomotor Rehabilitation (FMH), I have developed my path at the intersection of artistic creation, pedagogy, and the exploration of tools that promote accessibility and celebrate each person’s individuality.

Since 2014, I have worked as a performer with CiM – Companhia de Dança, in national and international projects. Alongside this, I teach Contemporary Dance and Creative Dance, with experience across different age groups and contexts. This journey has sparked my curiosity and shaped the way I observe, adapt, and explore the possibilities of each body and its different ways of moving.

My encounter with Pilates came through my own post-partum experience, during a moment of rediscovery of the body and its needs. The practice proved to be fundamental in my recovery, stability, and reconnection, becoming a natural extension of my artistic path.

In my classes, I aim to create a safe space where each person can train at their own pace while also challenging themselves consciously. The focus is on movement quality, body awareness, and functional strength, offering a practice adapted to individual needs and contributing to balance and well-being in daily life.

Núria
Professora Pilates Clássico

My interest in physical exercise began very early, with gymnastics as my first great passion. Over time, I also recognized within myself a strong vocation for caring for others.

In 2002, I pursued Nursing, graduating from the School of Health at the University of Aveiro. Years later, in 2019, I felt it was time to integrate movement into my professional practice, specializing in Rehabilitation Nursing at the Escola Superior de Enfermagem São Francisco das Misericórdias.

This specialization allowed me to develop skills focused on maximizing each person’s potential, promoting independence and quality of life. Since then, I have been dedicated to respiratory and motor rehabilitation in acute care settings, always with a holistic, personalized approach grounded in scientific knowledge.

The discovery of Classical Pilates proved to be a fundamental tool in this journey, profoundly transforming the way I provide care and strengthening the connection between movement, recovery, and well-being.
